I had a pleasant stay at Loro Tuerto. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always willing to assist. Despite being located in the city center, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The breakfast, although not extensive, was satisfactory for the affordable price. The building had a charming Cuban-style bar that added to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the hotel felt safe with someone responsible for locking the doors after 10pm.
The cleanliness of the bathroom and under the beds could have been improved. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable.

Spent Easter holidays at this charming hotel. Loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooms had good-sized beds and the air conditioning worked great. The outdoor common area was my favorite spot, filled with hammocks and comfortable seating. Another great thing was the location, it was just a short walk to the coast and many shops nearby. Also, loved the fact that the hotel had an open kitchen where we could prepare our own meals.
The water pressure in the shower which could be a little better. Also, the hotel was locked at night which made it difficult for us to leave early for some of the tours we had booked. But overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

This quaint hotel was the perfect choice to explore the stunning beaches further south. We loved the location, super close to the bus station and right in the city center. The room was cozy and comfortable and the service was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast while people-watching from the open bar. The decor is charming and truly Dominican. excellent value for money.
Sadly, there was no food available at the hotel during our stay.

Spent Christmas in a cozy hotel decorated in the style of the Dominican Republic. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay unforgettable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of food options. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the rooms were a great size.
The hot water took a few minutes to reach our room, and sometimes the pressure wasn't great. Additionally, the hotel was locked at night and we had to rely on the attendant to let us out. However, these were minor inconveniences compared to an overall wonderful experience.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel in a less explored part of the Dominican Republic. The location was ideal, right in the heart of a bustling city and within walking distance of the local market and restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and offered great recommendations for local excursions, including a visit to the salt lake Lago Enriquillo. The hotel had a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, with a shaded courtyard and free hammocks for guests to enjoy. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning, ensuring a good night's sleep. Lastly, the open kitchen was a great addition, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and experience a genuine taste of the Dominican Republic.
Everything was top-notch, no improvements necessary.

This hotel was a cozy and clean spot with friendly staff. We enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep as the air conditioning cooled our room down quickly. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, as we were able to easily walk around the town and hop on a bus to head to beaches further south. Additionally, the hotel facilities were more than sufficient with a community kitchen and 24-hour security.
Nothing that we didn't like.
